ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Daniela Rodrigo (she/her) and I am a proud JewRican (Jewish and Puerto-Rican) born and raised in the beautiful city of Los Angeles, California. Growing up in a family where everyone around me had their own artistic outlet, my love for the arts fell right into place; whether it was reenacting old movie musicals like “Funny Girl” and “West Side Story” that played on repeat on my television or dancing to salsa music at every family gathering, I was constantly expressing myself through music and dance, which soon became a deep drive and passion for musical theatre. 

This passion and drive stuck with me through years of recitals, classes, and performances, and eventually led me to pursue my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Elon University. I feel so honored and grateful to have trained beside such an amazing group of classmates.

When I’m not performing, I love hiking, traveling, listening to old school Jazz and R&B, watching reruns of “I Love Lucy” for the hundredth time, and obsessing over all things Trader Joes.
